Church is Open!

Our  church here in Pembroke is open to in-person worship service.

We invite you to come and worship with us every  Saturday

I would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm greeting to you, from my lovely wife Branka, and myself. It is with joy that I serve this community in preparing people to be ready for the soon coming of Jesus our Savior.

Over the past 40 years I’ve served in full-time ministry. My very first assignment was in previous Yugoslavia where I served as pastor. It’s been a great privilege in being an ambassador for Christ in various capacities ranging from an Evangelist, Medical Missionary, Pastor, Bible Instructor, Teacher. My greatest passion is sharing about my personal Savior Jesus Christ, who has called me out of darkness to reflect the marvelous light of Jesus every day.

In 1984, 38 years ago, the Pembroke SDA church was built here in Pembroke. Before that we were an organized group worshipping in many other venues over the years.

In numerous ways I enjoyed the benefits of those who have ministered here before me. I stand on their shoulders, as it were, and look back with great thanks at their accomplishments. Currently, I am the pastor of Pembroke Seventh day Adventist church.  I am committed to help people walk with Jesus Christ so that they can dig deeper, soar higher, see father, reach wider and live better from one Sabbath to another.

“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the [d]communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.” - 2 Corinthians 13:14.

Sincerely yours,

Djojo “Joe” Sekulic
